| Abstract Background Spotted fever is a tick-borne rickettsial disease. In Brazil, its notification to the Ministry of Health is compulsory. Since 2007, cases of spotted fever have been integrated to the Notifiable Diseases Information System, and epidemiological analyzes are part of the routines on surveillance programs. Methods This descriptive study updates epidemiological information on cases of spotted fever registered in Brazil between 2007 and 2015. Results In Brazil, 17,117 suspected cases of the disease were reported and 1,245 were confirmed in 12 states, mainly in São Paulo (550, 44.2 %) and Santa Catarina (276, 22.2 %). | Este trabalho apresenta uma avaliação tecnica e financeira da atividade de producao de leite em uma fazenda do Municipio de Gameleira-GO, regiao sul de Estado de Goias que incorpora, tambem, atividades de producao de graos, de cereais e de tomate industrial irrigado. O trabalho visa tambem a demostrar a importância de um estudo de caso, para avaliacao de novas tecnologias. | Le gouvernement français s’est engagé à travers différentes conventions et textes institutionnels à stopper d’ici 2010 la perte de la biodiversité. Pour atteindre cet objectif, le Ministère de l’Ecologie, de l’Energie, du Développement Durable et de la Mer (MEEDDM) a mis en place le Système d’Information sur la Nature et les Paysages (SINP), afin de rassembler et structurer l’information sur le patrimoine naturel et la biodiversité. | Descreve-se um método que, a partir de dados diários de temperatura e umidade relativa do ar, velocidade do vento, temperatura de ponto de orvalho, precipitação, insolação e quantidade de focos de incêndio, determina qual o melhor método a ser usado, entre cinco, para o cálculo de risco de incêndio na região em questão. A partir dos métodos: Fórmula de Monte Alegre (FMA), FMA Modificado (FMA+), Nesterov, Telicyn e Angstron, o sistema seleciona o que melhor prediz o risco de incêndio, além de, quando possível, determinar um fator para melhorar oresultado à região alvo, utilizando análise estatística dos erros.
